The site of Interconnection is an old residence and adjacent ground next to an old 18thC naval storehouse in the centre of Kronstadt. The storehouse building has been disused for many years and is derelict.

The site is on the canal, close to the cathedral and fronted by the canalside park. In summer many people pass by this area on the footpath and bridge that run direclty onto the site. By reintroducing this forgotten "unseen" space back into Kronstadt, the artists make a connection to the life of the community.
